Now operational, this 528,000 m2 concourse building designed specifically for Emirates Airline’s Airbus A380 Superjumbo planes.
Completed on 14 October 2008, Terminal 3 is a multi-level structure designed to promote simplified, easy passenger flow, directly linked to the 950m long Concourse 2 building.
The apron area around the new concourse 2 was upgraded in a project completed in 2003. Work on other taxiways, new remote parking stands, tunnels and the second runway were constructed.
